Shiawassee County Board Approves Multiple Contracts Worth $176K

At a recent meeting, the Shiawassee County Board of Commissioners approved contracts amounting to $176,247.25. These contracts include payments to Fidlar Technologies, Epoxy Guys, and LACASA, with all votes passing 6-0.
The board allocated $8,607.25 to Epoxy Guys for resurfacing the Animal Shelter, which was reopened in August 2022 after being closed since 2012. The flooring work aims to address damage caused by animals and comply with MDARD standards.
Additionally, LACASA's annual contract for $54,040 was renewed to support abuse survivors. This expenditure is sourced from an automation fund rather than the general fund, highlighting a strategic allocation of resources.
