Silence Laboratories Introduces Quantum-Safe Vault for Digital Asset Custody
Silence Laboratories launches a quantum-safe vault to enhance digital asset security for banks and custodians. This initiative addresses emerging quantum security risks and aligns with new NIST standards, enabling institutions to transition to a more secure framework.

On April 28, 2026, Silence Laboratories launched the first quantum-safe vault for secure digital asset custody, utilizing its quantum-safe wallet infrastructure. This initiative is critical as quantum computing advancements pose immediate risks to existing cryptographic systems, necessitating a shift towards post-quantum solutions.
The infrastructure incorporates ML-DSA, the digital signature standard developed by NIST in 2024, alongside Multi-Party Computation (MPC) to maintain security without compromising operational processes. Silence's PQ-MPC wallet is now accessible to select partners including Bitgo and Infosys, potentially reshaping the landscape of digital asset security amidst rising quantum threats.
