SK oceanplant to Invest $850 Million in Floating Offshore Wind Power Facility in South Korea
SK oceanplant plans to invest 1.12 trillion won ($850 million) in a facility for floating offshore wind power substructures in Goseong County, South Korea, targeting completion by December 2026. The company will supply 38 jacket substructures for the Anma Offshore Wind Project and has a significant presence in Taiwan's offshore wind market, holding a 44% market share.

SK oceanplant will invest 1.12 trillion won ($850 million) to build a production facility for floating offshore wind power substructures in Goseong County, South Korea, with a completion target of December 2026. The facility will support the global offshore wind energy market's growth.
The company will supply all 38 jacket substructures for the Anma Offshore Wind Project, the first large-scale offshore wind farm in South Korea. Additionally, SK oceanplant has been active in Taiwan's offshore wind projects since 2019, delivering about 200 substructures and holding a 44% market share in that market.
