SKF Installs Flowline Oil Monitors to Enhance Paper Mill Performance and Sustainability
SKF has installed 64 Flowline oil monitors at a paper mill, improving lubrication system performance. The upgrade offers precise flow control, reduces oil consumption, and enhances machine reliability and operator safety. SKF will provide ongoing technical support as part of a long-term partnership with the customer.

SKF has upgraded a paper mill's lubrication systems by installing 64 Flowline oil monitors, improving flow rate control and operational efficiency. The legacy Safematic system lacked individual flow control and customizable alarms, leading to limitations.
The new monitors feature turbine-based technology that minimizes pressure loss and allows for better user interface and flow accuracy indication. This upgrade also supports sustainability by reducing oil consumption and leak incidents.
SKF will provide full technical support, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership. Additionally, SKF has introduced a new series of air-operated grease pumps, enhancing lubrication efficiency across various industrial applications.
