SoftBank Partners with QAI Ventures to Establish Quantum Computing Hub in Singapore
SoftBank Corp has partnered with QAI Ventures and HorizonX to launch a quantum computing hub in Singapore, focusing on hybrid quantum-classical computing. The initiative aims to develop applications combining quantum and AI technologies across four sectors: network security, financial services, industrial optimization, and life sciences. SoftBank will join as a strategic member of the communications cluster, while HorizonX will provide educational support in collaboration with MIT. The program aligns with Singapore's RIE2030 research agenda.

SoftBank Corp is collaborating with QAI Ventures and HorizonX to establish a quantum computing hub in Singapore, aimed at promoting commercial use of quantum-classical hybrid computing. QAI Ventures is launching an 'Industry Clusters Program' to unite corporate partners, capital, and training for developing quantum-AI applications.
SoftBank will participate in the communications cluster, and HorizonX will act as an education partner with MIT. The initiative focuses on sectors such as network security, financial services, industrial optimization, and life sciences. Additionally, QAI Ventures will implement a venture-building track to transition projects from discovery to viable products, linking it to Singapore's RIE2030 innovation plan.
