Softeq Develops Smart Conveyor Control Using Arduino Technology
Softeq has created a wireless control system for complex conveyor belt operations using Arduino hardware, enhancing automation capabilities. This development facilitates efficient package handling and reduces the need for extensive wiring in industrial environments.

Softeq developed a wireless control system utilizing Arduino® Opta™ WiFi and Arduino® MKR™ WiFi 1010 for a client in automation technology. This system manages multiple conveyor belts and sensors, enabling complex item transport without extensive cabling.
The challenges included ensuring centralized control and reliable wireless connectivity. The Opta WiFi acts as a micro PLC for managing sensor inputs and motor outputs, while the MKR WiFi 1010 allows for wireless control and monitoring.
This solution meets the client's needs for scalability and reduces development costs by avoiding custom hardware. The successful implementation indicates potential for expanding logistics automation in various applications.
