SoftServe Launches Poland's First Robotics Laboratory in Wrocław
SoftServe's new robotics lab in Wrocław signifies a shift towards practical applications of physical AI in industry. This facility will facilitate projects for clients while advancing research, addressing market demand for AI-based automation.

SoftServe has launched its first robotics laboratory in Poland, operational in Wrocław, focusing on automation and artificial intelligence for production environments. The lab will conduct commercial projects and research on physical AI, with a goal to implement humanoids in existing factories not designed for automation.
Current data indicates Poland installed 2,344 industrial robots in 2024, a 13% decline from the previous year, amidst increasing pressure for digitalization. As companies seek automation solutions that do not require extensive infrastructure overhauls, humanoids may offer a practical alternative. The laboratory aims to create a robotics competency center, potentially transforming the landscape of automation in the region.
