The facility spans 85 acres with potential for expansion, equipped with 13 receiving and 22 shipping dock positions. It incorporates AI-driven automation from Symbotic to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Southern Glazer's has opened a distribution center in West Columbia, South Carolina, on an 85-acre campus with expansion potential of over 300,000 square feet. The facility features 13 receiving and 22 shipping dock positions, parking for 279 vehicles, and a storage capacity for 1.39 million cases.
It includes two multi-level pick modules with a total capacity of 75,000 cases and four palletizers processing 800 cases per hour. The center operates on DIT8 software from Dematic and employs Symbotic's AI-driven automation for improved supply chain efficiency.
This new center is part of a broader strategy to expand operations across several states, including the relocation of a warehouse from St. Louis to near Kansas City.
