Southern Highlands Secures $3 Million for Community Sports and Recreation Upgrades
The Southern Highlands will receive $3 million in federal funding for sports and park upgrades in Bowral, Moss Vale, and Robertson, enhancing community facilities. Key improvements include new lighting, recreational areas, and safer access paths to support local sports clubs and families.

Federal funding of $3 million has been allocated to upgrade sports ovals and parks in Bowral, Moss Vale, and Robertson. This investment will enhance Church Road Oval and David Wood Playing Field with new LED lighting, replacing outdated poles and improving safety for local sports clubs.
Additional developments include a pump track, skate park, and children's play area at Hampden Park, aimed at fostering community engagement and recreational opportunities. The upgrades will also implement new fencing and accessible pathways.
