Space ISAC Launches Quantum Initiative with MITRE for Space Cybersecurity
Space Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Space ISAC) is launching a Quantum Community of Interest (COI) initiative to address quantum computing in space cybersecurity. The first meeting is scheduled for February 25, co-hosted by MITRE.
The initiative aims to enhance awareness of quantum sciences, develop educational resources, and foster partnerships for applying quantum technologies in space. It will also undertake projects for collaborative advancement in quantum applications and produce a report on quantum opportunities for various critical sectors. Space ISAC emphasizes the importance of leveraging both commercial and public investments in cybersecurity for securing space systems.
