SpareBank 1 and Tieto Banktech have established a multi-year partnership to enhance digital mortgage solutions for retail customers in Norway. They plan to develop a new, data-driven mortgage offering that aims for faster decisions and simplified processes, with the initial version expected by 2026.

The solution will include a dynamic loan application integrated into SpareBank 1's mobile app, providing self-service tools and real-time personal advice. Tieto Banktech's existing automation capabilities will be further enhanced through this partnership, aspiring to create a nearly fully automated mortgage journey utilizing AI tools.
