St Edward's Church has won the Gold Eco Church award for its environmental efforts. The church initiated its Eco Church journey in 2022, achieving bronze in Spring 2023 and silver in 2024. The church's initiatives include rewilding its grounds to support wildlife and establishing a community garden for its Mustard Seed Café.

Energy efficiency improvements, such as LED lighting, have contributed to lowering its carbon footprint. St Edward's is currently fundraising to replace its gas boiler with an air source heat pump.
