Stellantis Recalls 10,000 Vehicles Over Water Pump Pulley Issue
Stellantis has initiated a recall affecting approximately 10,000 UK vehicles due to a water pump pulley defect in the 1.5-litre BlueHDi diesel engine. This recall encompasses models from Vauxhall, Peugeot, and other brands under the Stellantis umbrella, addressing potential engine power loss and safety risks.

Stellantis has recalled around 10,000 UK vehicles equipped with the 1.5-litre BlueHDi diesel engine due to a water pump pulley issue that could lead to engine power loss and detachment of components. This recall affects models manufactured between October 2025 and February 2026, including the Vauxhall Corsa and Peugeot Partner.
The company will replace the water pump kit at no cost, requiring approximately two and a half hours for repairs. Only half of the affected vehicles have been delivered to customers; the remaining units will be fixed before delivery. This recall follows a separate incident in February 2026 related to a fire risk in the 1.2-litre PureTech mild hybrid engine.
