Stellantis is recalling approximately 1.08 million Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator vehicles due to a fire risk linked to power steering wiring. Affected owners must avoid parking near structures until repairs are complete, expected by July 2026.

Stellantis is recalling 1.08 million Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator vehicles from model years 2021-2025 in the US due to a fire risk associated with the electric hydraulic power steering pump wiring. Owners are instructed to park away from structures until the remedy is available, projected no later than July 2026.
The recall also impacts approximately 106,258 vehicles in Canada, 23,704 in Mexico, and 124,297 in other markets, totaling about 1.33 million globally. The issue stems from an electrical connection that may cause overheating of combustible materials. Such defects pose significant liability risks and highlight the necessity for immediate consumer action and dealership readiness.
