Suzuki Burgman 15 Launches in Colombia, Competes with Honda PCX 160 and Yamaha Nmax 155
Suzuki Burgman 15, equipped with a 149 cc engine, launches in Colombia to compete with established models like Honda PCX 160 and Yamaha Nmax 155. The model may soon enter the Indonesian market, pending regulatory compliance.

Suzuki has introduced the Burgman 15 in Colombia, featuring a 149 cc SOHC engine with fuel injection and Suzuki Eco Performance technology, providing 14.4 hp and 14.2 Nm of torque. In comparison, the Honda PCX 160 has a 156.9 cc engine producing 16 hp and 14.7 Nm, while the Yamaha Nmax 155 offers 15 hp and 14.2 Nm from its 155.09 cc engine, which includes Variable Valve Actuation and an optional electric transmission.
PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales is considering introducing the Burgman 15 in Indonesia, although the launch is not expected this year due to compliance processes. The competitive landscape among these maxi scooters could shift as Suzuki aims to penetrate the market.
