Switchee Receives £468,000 BEIS Funding for Heat Pump Development in Social Housing
Switchee has secured £468,000 from the BEIS under the Heat Pump Ready Programme to enhance heat pump deployment in social housing. This initiative is part of the £1 billion Net Zero Innovation Portfolio, aimed at accelerating clean energy technologies. Collaborating with Leeds Beckett University and Daikin UK, Switchee will focus on overcoming barriers to heat pump adoption. The project will span 18 months and involve trials in 100 UK homes to evaluate outcomes and improve user acceptance.
