Technology Innovation Institute Launches Cloud Service for Quantum Processing Units in Abu Dhabi
The Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in Abu Dhabi has launched a cloud service providing access to Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) from its Quantum Computing Hardware Lab. Initially available to partners, this service allows users to run quantum workloads on TII's physical hardware. The lab operates QPU systems with 5 to 25 qubits, showing advancements in quantum coherence times. The service is supported by the open-source quantum software framework Qibo, facilitating hybrid quantum-classical workflows.

The Technology Innovation Institute (TII) has launched a cloud service that grants access to its Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) developed by the Quantum Computing Hardware Lab. This service is initially available to TII partners for running quantum workloads on its physical hardware.
The lab, established four years ago, operates QPU systems ranging from 5 to 25 qubits, with chips demonstrating quantum coherence times significantly better than earlier prototypes. The launch is a collaborative effort with TII's Quantum Middleware team, utilizing the Qibo software framework to support job submission and execution. The service is expected to grow with more capabilities and partner access as the quantum ecosystem develops.
