Tensor AI Solutions Collaborates on DLR Project for Quantum Materials Simulation
Tensor AI Solutions GmbH is coordinating a research project focused on simulating redox materials for energy generation and storage. The project involves collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institutes for Industrial Engineering and Organization (IAO) and for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA), which are subcontractors providing expertise in materials simulation and quantum computing.
The project is conducted at the DLR Institute of Materials Physics in Space and the DLR Institute of Future Fuels, under the DLR Quantum Computing Initiative, funded by the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR). The project seeks to enhance material design for efficient energy conversion from heat sources through quantum-mechanical simulations using tensor-network-based AI, bridging classical and quantum computing to optimize accuracy and efficiency.
