Tereos and Atvos Launch Autonomous Tractor Tests in Brazilian Sugarcane Sector
Tereos and Atvos are conducting pioneering tests with autonomous tractors in Brazil's sugarcane industry, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. The project, supported by ASI technology, demonstrates potential productivity increases of 20% and a 10% reduction in diesel consumption.

Tereos and Atvos have initiated tests of autonomous tractors within Brazil's sugarcane sector, with operations conducted between May and December 2025. The trials indicate a potential 20% productivity increase and a 10% reduction in diesel consumption, emphasizing the significance of automation in agriculture.
The project originated from the Agri-Tech Experience in October 2024, leading to the formation of the Brazilian Sugarcane Automation Alliance. The technology, developed by ASI and validated by Balanced Engineering and Agricef, is tailored to local agricultural conditions. The autonomous solution's adaptability and efficiency may encourage broader adoption in Brazilian farming, enhancing sustainability and operational effectiveness.
