Test of Things Secures €1.2M for IoT Cybersecurity Solutions
Test of Things has raised €1.2 million to enhance its automated cybersecurity testing platform for IoT devices. This funding addresses the critical need for scalable and efficient cybersecurity compliance in the rapidly growing market of connected products.

Test of Things has successfully raised €1.2 million in a pre-seed funding round aimed at advancing its automated cybersecurity management platform for connected devices. The round was led by Vendep Capital, with contributions from Aapo Oksman, Zach Shelby, Neil Costigan, ScanABC, and Business Finland.
Founded in 2024 by Marko Kaasila and Rauli Kaksonen, the startup aims to simplify cybersecurity processes for IoT devices, which are currently hindered by manual and costly compliance testing methods. The investment will facilitate product development and assist manufacturers in meeting security standards required by consumers and regulatory bodies. Effective automation in this space could significantly reduce costs and enhance market readiness for IoT products.
