The Bot Factory Launches AI-Powered Sewer Governance Project in Hyderabad
Project SHUDH, launching on July 11, 2026, aims to eliminate manual sewer entry using AI and robotics. This initiative addresses significant safety risks faced by sewer workers in India, where 377 fatalities were reported from 2019 to 2023.

The Bot Factory will launch Project SHUDH, an AI-driven sewer governance platform, on July 11, 2026. The project aims to ensure zero manual entry into sewers by utilizing autonomous robotic systems for cleaning, inspection, and data collection.
This initiative aligns with national priorities on worker safety and smart city development. The system, demonstrated in collaboration with the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, can generate real-time operational data and digital maps. India's market for such technology is substantial, with over 4,500 towns and hundreds of municipalities potentially benefiting from enhanced accountability and predictive maintenance capabilities.
