The LEGO Group Invests DKK 18 Million in Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The LEGO Group is increasing its sustainability funding by DKK 18 million, totaling DKK 54 million for carbon removal projects. In partnership with Climate Impact Partners and ClimeFi, the investment supports various carbon removal methods and contributes to local initiatives, including the Quintana Roo Restoration Project in Mexico, aimed at reforesting 14,000 hectares and benefiting local communities.

The LEGO Group has renewed its commitment to sustainability with an additional DKK 18 million investment, raising its total to DKK 54 million for carbon removal initiatives. Partnering with Climate Impact Partners and ClimeFi, the funding will support four projects testing different carbon removal methods.
The Group is also exploring innovations in carbon reduction technologies, including biomass geological storage, mineralization, and marine carbon dioxide removal. Additionally, the investment supports the Quintana Roo Restoration Project in Mexico, which focuses on reforestation and community benefits.
