Titch Hill Farm, part of the Sompting Estate, revitalized its post-harvest efficiency with McArthur BDC's automated system, addressing limitations of its outdated 1960s grain setup. A new grain store and a Mecmar D20t drier, supported by a Skandia 40tph intake conveyor, were installed before the 2024 harvest.
The system features remote monitoring capabilities, allowing farm manager Mark Heritage to operate the drier from a mobile device. The installation ensures continuous operation with minimal supervision, matching intake capacity and throughput effectively. The new setup enhances efficiency, reduces pressure during harvest, and provides reliable grain storage.
