The Township of Tiny Fire and Emergency Services inaugurated a new fire tanker truck on February 3, 2026, stationed at Tiny Fire Station #2 in Wyevale. The truck, made in Ontario, has a capacity of 9,000 litres and an onboard pump that can deliver 5,000 litres per minute, crucial for areas lacking fire hydrants.

This unit replaces a tanker over 20 years old, improving reliability and safety. Funding came from the Fire Department's reserves. Tiny Fire also has an accredited Superior Tanker Shuttle Service, ensuring effective fire protection in rural areas and potential insurance discounts for property owners.
