Traffic Tech Group Implements Tunnel Management System for Ras Abu Aboud Tunnel in Qatar
The Ras Abu Aboud Tunnel in Qatar, part of a $200 million road network expansion, opened to traffic in January 2026. It links Doha with the New Doha International Airport, set to open in 2011. Traffic Tech (Gulf) completed the tunnel management system in five months, collaborating with Croatian company Telegra, which provided software and hardware. The system meets global safety standards and includes advanced traffic and environmental management features.
