TreQ Launches Open-Architecture Quantum Computing Testbed
TreQ has launched its Open-Architecture Quantum (OAQ) Testbed, enabling eight configurations from multiple vendors. This development marks a significant step in flexible quantum infrastructure and system interoperability, enhancing evaluation capabilities for customers.

TreQ's Open-Architecture Quantum (OAQ) Testbed is operational, offering eight distinct configurations within a three-rack footprint. The system integrates components from various suppliers, enhancing flexibility and performance evaluation without hardware modifications.
The testbed supports innovations in quantum infrastructure, allowing for ongoing upgrades and technology integration. Developed with support from Innovate UK's Quantum Mission Pilot, the OAQ Testbed relies on rigorous systems engineering to ensure reliable operation and interoperability. This initiative is expected to bolster the adoption of open-architecture approaches in quantum computing, allowing for improved return on investment and extended infrastructure lifetimes.
