The Truckee Donner Public Utility District (TDPUD) Board approved capital investments for 2026, focusing on the water system. Major projects include replacing 2,600 feet of water main, constructing a pipeline to connect separate water systems, and upgrading the Martiswoods hydropneumatic pump station.

The board also recognized the need for pipeline rehabilitation and water storage tank maintenance. Starting in 2026, TDPUD will track electric reliability metrics SAIFI, SAIDI, and CAIDI.
