M&A activity in the UK logistics sector decreased in 2025, with 69 transactions, a 26% drop from 2024's 93 deals. The final quarter saw 16 deals, down from 19 in the same period the previous year. Overall disclosed deal values fell, reflecting a slowdown in large transactions, though buyer appetite persisted, particularly from international investors.

Trade buyers made up 56% of last quarter's transactions. Key deals included QLS Group BV's acquisition of James & James Fulfilment and Stott Nielsen's acquisition of Suttons International Holdings. Technology deals represented over a third of fourth-quarter transactions, highlighting investor interest in automation and AI solutions.
