Ukraine Strikes Voronezh Plant Linked to Russian Missile Production
Ukraine targeted the Sborka plant in Voronezh, a critical supplier of components for Russia's Kh-101, Iskander-K, and Pantsir-S1 systems. This strike reflects Ukraine's strategic approach to disrupt Russia's military supply chain amid ongoing conflict.

Ukraine's military intelligence confirms the Sborka plant, officially the Voronezh Factory of Semiconductor Devices, supplies crucial semiconductor components for the Kh-101 cruise missile, Iskander-K missile complex, and Pantsir-S1 air defense system. The recent strike, executed with cruise missiles, has inflicted significant damage, emphasizing its role in Russia's defense supply chain.
This facility is identified as a leading manufacturer of discrete semiconductor devices, integrated circuits, and power modules. The Kh-101 missile, known for its long-range capability, relies on specialized components produced at Sborka, which are not commercially available.
Disruption of these supplies could compress production timelines and challenge Russian procurement efforts. This targeted action aligns with previous strikes on other military microelectronics producers, indicating a focused strategy to impair Russia's weapons manufacturing capacity.
