United Group has partnered with Intracom Telecom to enhance its Nova network, focusing on enterprise connectivity in southeastern Europe. The deployment will utilize Intracom Telecom's WiBAS G5 Smart and WiBAS G5 GigaConnect fixed wireless access platforms, leveraging 5G mmWave spectrum in the 26.5-27.5 GHz band to provide high-speed services.

This upgrade aims to meet the rising demand for reliable, high-capacity connectivity in urban areas. The collaboration follows a multi-year network modernization program initiated in Greece in 2021, targeting improved coverage and capacity for business customers. The enhancements are part of a broader industry trend towards enterprise services, as businesses increasingly invest in digital infrastructure to support automation and cloud adoption, with enterprises projected to allocate around 10% of revenues to digital transformation by 2030.
