Upbeat Technology Launches Tiny AI Engine with MEMS Vibration Sensors
Upbeat Technology has introduced the Tiny AI Engine, integrating MEMS vibration sensors and dual-core RISC-V AI microcontrollers. This platform enhances voice capture and machine monitoring in various applications, including wearables and industrial systems.

The Tiny AI Engine from Upbeat Technology features the UPM01 and UPM02 Vibration Processing Units and UP201 and UP301 dual-core RISC-V AI microcontrollers. It supports applications from wearables to industrial equipment, enabling voice processing and predictive maintenance.
The platform's Bone Conduction Microphone works with air microphones to achieve Environmental Noise Cancellation in high-noise environments. In industrial settings, the UP201 AI MCU and UPM01 sensor monitor vibrations up to 20 kHz, facilitating anomaly detection. Additionally, the UP301 + UPM01 Falcon Demo Kit provides tools for engineers to develop predictive maintenance applications, including a dual-core RISC-V AI MCU evaluation board and vibration analysis software.
