UWL Students Complete 42-Metre Mural for Ealing's Circular Economy Hub
Students from the University of West London have created a 42-metre mural for Ealing's ReActon hub, highlighting sustainability initiatives. This project integrates educational experience with community engagement, showcasing the importance of real-world design applications.

Three BA (Hons) Graphic Design students from the University of West London have produced a 42-metre mural for ReActon, a circular economy hub in Ealing. The mural illustrates various sustainability initiatives, including uniform exchanges, book swaps, and bike repairs.
The project was initiated as a live client brief, allowing students to engage directly with a real client and develop public-facing design solutions. Local pupils contributed ideas for the mural, which were incorporated into the final design.
Paint Your Planet, a mural company, supported the project by using recycled materials and advanced techniques for implementation. This collaboration enhances students' hands-on experience and community involvement.
