Vaulted Deep Secures $56 Million to Expand Carbon Storage Solutions for Organic Waste Disposal
Vaulted Deep, a Houston-based deep well slurry injection facility, has raised $56 million to provide alternatives to landfilling and incineration for organic waste disposal. The company uses injection well technology from Advantek to sequester waste underground, with existing contracts including a facility in Los Angeles processing 20% of the city's biosolids. Vaulted Deep has also acquired a site in Kansas and plans to expand further into new markets, including a facility in Colorado set to launch next year.

Vaulted Deep has raised $56 million to offer deep well slurry injection as a solution for organic waste disposal, addressing concerns about landfill and incineration capacity. The technology, originating from Advantek, sequesters waste below impermeable rock layers.
Vaulted Deep's existing projects include a facility in Los Angeles that processes 20% of the city's biosolids and a second site in Hutchinson, Kansas, which has sequestered over 157,000 metric tons of waste. The company is developing additional on-site solutions for clients and plans to launch a new facility in Weld County, Colorado, in 2027. It has secured significant contracts and partnerships, including a $58.3 million deal with Frontier Climate.
