Verdant Impact Secures $3 Million for AI-Driven Livestock Tech Expansion in India
Jaipur-based Verdant Impact has raised $3 million (₹25 crore) in seed funding, led by Unicorn India Ventures. The funds will enhance its AI platform for cattle genetics and dairy farm productivity across India, focusing on North and North-East regions. The startup aims for ₹100 crore in revenues by March 2026, having achieved 8X growth since March 2025. Key initiatives include upgrading the Pashu AI platform and launching IoT devices for real-time herd management, alongside participating in the India Methane Mission to reduce methane emissions and enable carbon credit trading for farmers.

Verdant Impact has raised $3 million in seed funding led by Unicorn India Ventures, with participation from Infynyte Club and other investors. The funding will be used to expand its AI platform for improving cattle genetics and dairy farm productivity in India, particularly in North and North-East regions.
The startup aims to achieve ₹100 crore in revenue by March 2026, reporting 8X revenue growth since March 2025. It plans to enhance its Pashu AI platform, launch the Bharat Pashudhan IoT device for herd management, and integrate blockchain technology for data tracking. Additionally, Verdant Impact is part of the India Methane Mission to mitigate methane emissions from cattle while enabling small farmers to access carbon credits.
