VINP Distilleries & Sugars Ltd. in Hubballi, Karnataka, has partnered with Privilege Biksons Boilers Pvt. Ltd. to implement a cogeneration project, successfully commissioned in November 2025. The project includes a 27 MW Steam Turbine Generator and a 140 TPH bagasse-fired Travelling Grate Boiler.

This partnership has facilitated VINP's expansion from 3,500 TCD to 12,000 TCD crushing capacity over three years. The turnkey solution addresses process steam and captive power demands, optimizing bagasse utilization during the crushing season. Privilege Biksons applies industry-specific expertise to enhance boiler efficiency, stability, and safety through advanced automation, contributing to reduced dependence on grid power and promoting cleaner energy generation.
