VITA Launches VITA Pulse to Enhance VAT Expertise in Accountancy
VITA has introduced VITA Pulse, a new initiative aimed at improving VAT knowledge among the UK's accountancy sector. This move addresses the need for specialized VAT expertise, given that VAT contributes approximately £180 billion annually to government revenue.

VITA has launched VITA Pulse, a guide designed to provide accessible information on VAT, enhancing the skills of accounting professionals. The initiative comes in response to the significant contribution of VAT to UK tax receipts, which ranges between 14% to 17%.
Despite this, many of the 40,000 VAT-registered accounting firms lack specialist knowledge. VITA Pulse follows the successful CBAM Compass and aims to raise standards in the profession by creating a network for identifying and resolving VAT issues. This effort is intended to equip firms to navigate complex VAT challenges effectively.
