Willo, a Helsinki startup, has secured €2.9 million in pre-seed funding to advance its alignment-free wireless power technology, enabling devices to charge while moving or rotating. The funding round was led by byFounders, with participation from Interface Capital, Unruly Capital, and others.

Willo plans to transition from its recent breakthrough demonstration, which won CNET's Best of CES 2026 award, to engineering development and creating an early reference system for partners in robotics and automation. The technology builds on over a decade of research and aims to eliminate constraints in wireless power delivery.
