WSP Appointed to Address Groundwater Contamination in Lyngby, Denmark
Region Hovedstaden has selected WSP as the advisor for a project aimed at reducing groundwater pollution on Lundtoftevej in Lyngby, identified as the worst case for drinking water resources. The solution includes a ventilation system to remove contaminated air from the ground and a 'pump & treat' system to extract and purify polluted groundwater.

WSP has been appointed by Region Hovedstaden to address severe groundwater contamination on Lundtoftevej in Lyngby, referred to as the worst in terms of drinking water resources. The project will implement a ventilation system to extract contaminated air from below the groundwater table and a 'pump & treat' system to clean the polluted groundwater. This initiative aims to mitigate the environmental impact and restore the area's water quality.
