Wyandot Snacks Implements Robotics for Production Efficiency
Wyandot Snacks has deployed two robots for pallet stacking, increasing production capacity significantly. This automation initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining job levels.

Wyandot Snacks has integrated two robots into its production line to automate pallet stacking, which has contributed to a rise in output from 300,000 pounds to over one million pounds weekly. The company, in partnership with Formic, emphasizes a flexible automation model allowing for the adaptation of robotic systems as production needs evolve.
CEO Jaap Langenberg notes that employee concerns about job loss have transitioned into a demand for further automation, resulting in a workforce increase of approximately 100 employees since last January. Future automation phases are planned, with a commitment to ongoing investment in facility modernization and job creation.
