Yaskawa Restructures Leadership in Europe Amid Digital Transformation
Yaskawa has restructured its European leadership, appointing Pär Tornemo as President & CEO for EMEA, succeeding Marcus Mead. The company aims to leverage opportunities in AI-driven automation and sustainable practices to enhance customer engagement in the region.

Yaskawa has announced a leadership restructuring at its European headquarters at the start of the business year. Pär Tornemo has taken over as President & CEO for Yaskawa EMEA, focusing on digitalization and AI-driven automation.
Jörg Rommelfanger has been appointed as the President of the DACH region's robotics sector, overseeing operations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland since August 2025. Yaskawa intends to strengthen its customer presence and expand partnerships in various sectors, including logistics and pharmaceuticals, while maintaining Bobbie Linkenbach as Senior Vice President of Drives & Motion Controls to ensure stability and innovation in that division. The restructuring reflects Yaskawa's commitment to adapt its business strategies to evolving market demands.
