Yorkshire Water Fences Off Hollingwood Lane for £5.3 Million Pumping Station Upgrade

FLOW CONTROL

Yorkshire Water has commenced work on Hollingwood Lane, Great Horton, to upgrade pipework for a new water pumping station. This project is part of a £5.3 million initiative to rebuild the Paradise Green Water Pumping Station in Clayton.

The existing station is nearing the end of its lifecycle, prompting the need for this upgrade. The road is temporarily fenced off for public safety during construction. Completion of the new pumping station is anticipated by early 2028. Yorkshire Water is investing £3 million daily to enhance local water services.
