Sereact's Series B funding has reached $116 million with Zalando's strategic investment, highlighting the importance of AI in fulfilling e-commerce operations. The partnership aims to enhance warehouse automation, particularly in handling returns, a significant challenge in the fashion retail sector.

Sereact has successfully raised $116 million in its Series B funding round, with Zalando joining as a strategic investor. This investment increases Sereact's total funding to over $145 million, aimed at advancing its AI-powered warehouse robotics technologies.
Sereact's Cortex technology automates tasks such as unpacking and processing returns, addressing operational challenges faced by retailers, particularly in Europe where return rates are high. The company has deployed over 200 systems and completed over one billion production picks.
The funding will facilitate the development of Cortex 2.0, enhancing the ability of robots to predict and plan actions. This strategic partnership signals a shift towards automation as a solution to labor shortages in Central Europe, indicating a growing trend in the logistics sector.
