Zero Emissions Platform Becomes Carbon Management Europe Amid EU Climate Strategy Developments
Carbon Management Europe, formerly Zero Emissions Platform, rebrands to align with expanded carbon management focus. This change coincides with significant EU climate policy advancements, including revisions to the EU Emissions Trading System.

The Zero Emissions Platform has rebranded as Carbon Management Europe, reflecting a broadened focus on the entire carbon management value chain. This shift occurs as the EU prepares to revise its Emissions Trading System and establish a CO2 market, which will influence the deployment of carbon management technologies.
The organization will maintain its mission to provide scientific advice to EU institutions and national governments despite the name change. A new website has been launched, and a stakeholder event is scheduled for June 9, 2026, in Brussels, aiming to foster engagement among various sectors. The rebranding positions the organization to better contribute to crucial discussions on climate neutrality.
