ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited is set to develop an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite for next-generation buses, following a new business nomination from an Indian OEM. The core of this program is ZF's OnGuardMAX platform, which includes a front camera, mid-range radar, and additional safety features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Lane Departure Warning (LDWS).
The ADAS integrates electronic braking systems for enhanced vehicle control and faster response times. Production is targeted for early 2027, with the platform scalable to support future automation levels. ZF's commitment to safety aligns with increasing regulatory requirements and market demand, positioning the company as a key player in India's evolving transport landscape.
