3DC has completed a second close of its Series A funding, raising ¥370 million, with total financing now at ¥5.65 billion. The new funds will support the expansion of its pilot plant in Gifu Prefecture, focusing on mass production facilities, equipment, and R&D for battery materials and applications.
The partnership with Toho Acetylene is expected to advance both material development and manufacturing processes. Additionally, the company is enhancing its global supply chain and is conducting practical application research for conductive additives, with backing from NEDO. This move could significantly impact the carbon material sector, facilitating wider adoption of GMS in various applications.
