5.2 Billion EUR Funding Available through the Innovation Fund for Decarbonization Projects
The Innovation Fund has a total budget of 5.2 billion EUR available through three main pillars: 2.9 billion EUR for net-zero technologies (IF25 NZT) aimed at mature decarbonization projects; 1.3 billion EUR for supporting renewable hydrogen production (IF25 Hydrogen); and 1 billion EUR for sustainable industrial heat solutions (IF25 Heat). Project submission deadlines are February 19, 2026, for Hydrogen and Heat projects, and April 23, 2026, for net-zero emissions projects.
The Ministry of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism is organizing the second edition of the National Information Day on the Innovation Fund, in partnership with DG Clima and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA). The event targets companies developing advanced technologies to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and accelerate the transition to a green economy.
