$750M Data Center Approved for Development in Clinton, Mississippi
DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
The Clinton Board of Aldermen approved a FILOT agreement on January 15 for a $750 million data center at 1001 Industrial Park Drive. The site was formerly occupied by Delphi Packard Electric. The agreement permits the company to pay an annual fee instead of the full property taxes.
Hinds County Supervisors also approved a FILOT agreement on the same day, though their relationship is unclear. The project will create 50 new jobs and was incentivized to attract the company to Clinton. Conditional use and dimensional variance approvals were also granted.
