A2A has launched A2A Life Ventures, Italy's first corporate-created company aimed at synergistically integrating open innovation to accelerate advancements in the circular economy and energy transition. The new entity will develop and test digital, physical, and AI-based solutions, enhancing A2A's role in national and European innovation.

This initiative builds on A2A's corporate venture capital efforts initiated in 2020, focusing on a long-term strategy that prioritizes industrial and technological value creation. A2A Life Ventures will specifically advance projects in energy recovery from data centers and industries, waste treatment, sustainable water resource management, renewable energy generation, new-generation energy storage systems, and network resilience. The strategy aims to make production and distribution more efficient, resilient, and sustainable, contributing to decarbonization goals by 2035.
