AB Energy Expands RNG Operations to Meet Growing Demand in U.S. Data Centers
AB Energy is strategically enhancing its operations in the U.S. by launching a headquarters in Texas and expanding into renewable natural gas (RNG) markets. This shift positions the company to meet the energy demands of data centers, which are rapidly growing and consuming significant power.

AB Energy, based in Italy, has launched its headquarters in Woodland, Texas, to capitalize on the expanding RNG market in the U.S. The company began commercial RNG operations in 2020, driven by incentives like California's Low-Carbon Fuel Standard and is now focusing on data centers that require over 100 megawatts of power per hour.
Its technology, BIOCH4NGE, achieves a 99% methane recovery rate, supporting operations from landfills to dairy farms. AB Energy has received approximately 1.5 gigawatts in orders over the past year, indicating a strong market demand. As data centers increasingly prioritize power availability, AB is positioned to offer cogeneration solutions, improving efficiency while addressing environmental sustainability.
