ABDI Invests R$ 3 Million in ECOS Data Center Project with CPQD
The Brazilian Industrial Development Agency (ABDI) is investing R$ 3 million in the ECOS project, launched in partnership with CPQD. The initiative aims to develop innovative technological solutions for data center challenges, selecting up to six tech startups over a 24-month innovation journey. Each selected startup will receive R$ 250,000 for support. The project focuses on sustainable and intelligent data centers, incorporating technologies like AI and energy storage systems to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

The ECOS project, initiated through a partnership between CPQD and ABDI, involves an investment of R$ 3 million aimed at enhancing technological solutions for data centers. Half of the funding will support selected startups during a 24-month innovation journey.
Up to six tech startups will be chosen to develop solutions in real data center environments, focusing on energy efficiency, water conservation, and renewable energy integration. The project is structured in four phases: trend analysis, solution maturation, pilot execution, and a demo day for showcasing validated solutions to investors and potential clients. Each startup will receive R$ 250,000 for financial support.
